Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account details you give us: your email address and display name.

Device and app details collected automatically: device model, operating system version, app version, language, timezone, and the country inferred from your IP address when you sign up.

Usage events: which screens you view and which matches you open.

Advertising identifiers: your device advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) and an AppsFlyer install identifier. On iOS the IDFA is only collected if you allow tracking when asked.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, messages, payment details, or any betting activity.

How we use your data

(1) To identify your account across sessions and devices.
(2) To send push notifications you have opted in to.
(3) To understand aggregate usage so we can improve the app.
(4) To measure which adverts and campaigns brought people to wagerbase.
(5) To answer support requests you send us.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to set odds, and nothing you do in the app changes the predictions you are shown.

Advertising and attribution

wagerbase is free and carries no adverts. We do advertise the app elsewhere, and we use AppsFlyer (AppsFlyer Ltd.) to measure which of those adverts worked.

To do that, AppsFlyer receives your device advertising ID, an AppsFlyer install identifier, device and app details, and events such as installing the app, signing up, and signing in. This is matched against ad campaigns on networks including Google Ads, Meta and TikTok.

On iOS, Apple requires your permission before we may use the IDFA. If you decline, we do not use it and measurement falls back to less precise, non-identifying signals — the app works exactly the same either way. You can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings.

Odds

Odds shown in wagerbase are for information only. They are not links: wagerbase does not take bets, does not send you to a bookmaker, and shares nothing with one.

Third-party services

Firebase (Google) — authentication, analytics, and crash-related diagnostics.

AppsFlyer (AppsFlyer Ltd.) — install attribution and marketing measurement, as described above.

Expo (650 Industries) — delivery of push notifications to your device.

Supabase (PostgreSQL hosting) — storage of your account record.

Each handles data under its own privacy terms. Your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen. Deletion completes within 30 days.

You can turn push notifications off from the Profile screen or in your device settings, and you can withdraw tracking permission at any time as described above.

Under GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, or erase your data, and to object to processing. Under the CCPA you have the right to know what we collect and to request deletion. Email info@wagerbase.io and we will respond within 30 days.

Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days.

Firebase analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. AppsFlyer attribution data is retained for up to 24 months. Crash reports are kept by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days. Inactive push tokens are deactivated automatically.

Children

wagerbase is intended for adults aged 18 or over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and the date shown at the top. Material changes will be notified in the app.
