What is wagerbase?

wagerbase is the first platform to compare professional bookmaker odds against prediction markets like Polymarket in real-time. Often described as a Bloomberg terminal for prediction markets, wagerbase uses consensus odds from 60+ bookmakers to detect pricing gaps between traditional bookmakers and prediction markets across football.

Our flagship tool, MarketGap, monitors the difference between sportsbook consensus probabilities and Polymarket trader prices. When those two fundamentally different pricing mechanisms disagree by more than 5%, it usually means one side has information the other hasn't priced in yet. We surface these discrepancies so traders on both platforms can make better-informed decisions.

The Prediction Model

The wagerbase prediction engine is our proprietary model that combines multiple statistical models with machine learning to calculate the true probability of football match outcomes. It analyses thousands of historical matches, team form, attack and defence strength, and home advantage to generate probability estimates for every market.

When our model's probability exceeds the bookmaker's implied probability, we've found a value bet — an edge. The bigger the gap between our probability and the bookmaker's, the stronger the edge.
